German-Israeli youth exchange in Bredbeck

3rd till 12th of August 2012

with youngsters from Pekiin and the area of Bredbeck

German Project-partner      Tagungshaus Bredbeck

Israeli  Project-partner          Comprehensive High School, Pekiin

The Israeli participants returned from Germany filled with positive experiences and impressions.

The program was very interesting, including the workshops that were lead by professional tutors, who knew to wake interest in the youngsters and to inspire them. It was great to summarize the workshops in an exhibition. It was the first time for the youngsters to present their work in public.

The youngsters liked to be together, they found good ways to communicate. There from resulted close and goof relations between them.

The head of the German delegation, Ms. Mari Nagaoka, was wonderful. She dedicated herself completely to the project and was a great host, referring completely to her Israeli guests, replying to every tiny request, not forgetting any detail. That was the basis for a good atmosphere.

A little bit long and therefore a little bit tiresome were the long guided tours outside Bredbeck. The visit to the city of Hamburg was impressing, even though the participants had to walk a lot.

The parting was hard and filled with tears. Comfort gave the high joyful expectations towards the continuation of the exchange in Israel in this years autumn.

The head of the Israeli delegation, headmaster Dr. Hasin Zarka, is explicitly thankful and has the highest appreciation for the rich program, the endless efforts and the heart warming cordiality on the part of the German heads of the project, the youngsters were allowed to enjoy.
